We will be staying in the Villa Gragnano which is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany near the city of Lucca. 
This hundred year old villa has been completely remodeled and updated which makes it exceptionally convenient and comfortable. You will find it both elegant and relaxed. The advantage of staying in a villa as opposed to a hotel is that you are able to enjoy the comfort of a home and the quiet of the country. I find that this is a nice respite after a busy day of sightseeing.
Each bedroom is comfortable and uniquely furnished in the simple tuscan style. As is typical of Italian homes, bathrooms are a luxury so that sometimes it will be necessary to share a bathroom.
The Garden: Il giardino, as it is called in Italian, is any natural outdoor space. 
Villa Gragnano happens to have una bella giardino! There are plenty of places to sit down, relax and enjoy the breathtaking view, or, if that seems too strenuous, pull up a lawn chair and take a nap. Also, there is a large pool which is always open and easily accessible from the guest rooms.
The Surrounding Area: 
If you have always wanted to walk through the Tuscan countryside, this is a perfect place to do so as the surrounding area is full of vineyards, olive groves and classic Italian Villas. You may find yourself inspired like the many artists who came before. There is something captivating and utterly romantic about these hills, hardly changed by the passage of time and yet they appear different every day as the light moves over them.
