We will be staying in a beautiful Villa in the charming Tuscan countryside near the city of Lucca. The advantage of staying in a villa as opposed to a hotel is that you are able to enjoy the comfort of a home and the quiet of the country. I find that this is a nice respite after a busy day of sightseeing. You will find it both elegant and relaxed.

The Garden: Il giardino, as it is called in Italian, is any natural outdoor space. The Villa has has un bello giardino! Relax and enjoy the breathtaking view, or, if that seems too strenuous, pull up a lawn chair and take a nap. Also, there is a large pool which is always open and easily accessible from the Villa.

The Surrounding Area: If you have always wanted to walk through the Tuscan countryside, this is a perfect place to do so as the surrounding area is full of vineyards, olive groves and classic Italian Villas. You may find yourself inspired like the many artists who came before. There is something captivating and utterly romantic about these hills, hardly changed by the passage of time and yet they appear different every day as the light moves over them.
